A Hiking we will Go

Since the day we arrived all those living at CCCp have been talking about going for a hike.  The motivation for a hike has been mounting and today we actually went through with it.  With training done early in the morning we freed our afternoon to go wander through the mountains.  We hooked up with Wildcat and the Alberta boys.

Our trail of choice was Bear Canyon.  We missed.  We ended up hiking a trail called Telephone Wire.  We had a fantastic walk along the side of a mountain valley.  Four hours later we emerged from the wilderness three weeks over our quota for walking but damn the mountains make you come alive.

I love the mountains.  I don't get to do nearly enough hiking and camping as I would like.  Today was Awesome.

Training shall be based solely on feel,
while racing shall be guided by sensations and instinct.
